The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT’s 2nd Second Edition Debuts in ‘University Blue’

The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 is coming. Updating the original CMFT format with new materials and construction, the modified silhouette is coming in ‘University Blue’ next year.

Nike introduced a new CMFT version of their beloved Air Jordan 1 High in recent years, packing the midsole with Zoom technology for better support and comfort over extended periods of wear. While the shoe has been a success so far, the Swoosh is updating the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT with a new second iteration, switching up materials and construction for a new look. First, the exposed foam collar and tongue have been sealed, more closely resembling the original form of the AJ1. The tongue has also been replaced with a more breathable mesh material, while canvas collars add durability and flexibility. Combinations of suedes and synthetic leathers make up the rest of the upper, with extra perforation holes added to the medial side to let your feet breath a little more. The first colorway we’ve seen is a new ‘University Blue’ look, which mixes white base layers with varying shades of baby blue and an off-white soles and laces to complete the look.
