adidas Spezial is back for the Summer. The division of the Three Stripes devoted to their archival classics has readied a new selection of footwear to release this week, offering up some sleek new looks perfect for the warmer months ahead.
The adidas Spezial campaign holds a special place in the heart of true adidas fans. Currently headed up by Gary Apsden, a long-standing figure in adidas’ history, the latest work from the small team carries heavy inspiration from the city of London, by way of Robert Brooksy. A true Londoner in nature, Brooksy has been a part of the Spezial line since its early days traveling to a rare adidas store in Argentina that acted more like a museum than a retail store. His life and experiences helped inspire the colorway of the Silverbirch SPZL, a reworked version of the adidas Denver with the LA Trainer’s famous outsole.
ADIDAS SPEZIAL SUMMER 2019 COLLECTION
The latest collection from adidas Spezial is scheduled to release this Friday, June 21st, 2019. Featuring the Earlham SPZL, GLXY SPZL, amd the Silverbirch SPZL, the retail prices fall into a small range of just $120-$130, and will release from both adidas and select Spezial accounts.
