Another archival adidas silhouette is back in full force. After returning last month as a part of the Torsion Bar’s celebration, the adidas LXCON OG is launching again in several colorways, including this colorful original version, which is available now.
The adidas LXCON first entered the sneaker lexicon of many in the community earlier this year, when the Three Stripes launched a rehauled version of the classic silhouette. Obviously, the shoe has been around for much longer, dating back all the way to 1994. The shoe was originally built as a lightweight runner, constructed from a layered mesh and featherweight leathers combined with an adiPrene sole for a smooth ride. The look of the LXCON 94 was aggressive, too, featuring thick Predator-inspired forward leaning stripes and lines built for speed. Now, adidas is getting ready for a retro release of their latest renovated silhouette. Now, following the success of the modernized 2019 update and as well as the original, the LXCON 94 is back in several of its original color schemes this week. First up, the “Crayon White” iteration begins with black and white base layers for the upper, with colorful overlays in royal blue, infrared, and neon green.
