After months of waiting and several leaks during the sampling and design process, the adidas AE2 is almost here. This week, information regarding Anthony Edwards’ sophomore sneaker in “Lucid Pink” has surfaced, dropping early in 2026.
The debut of Anthony Edwards’ second signature shoe with adidas, the AE2, has been a long process. After the success of the first model, the sophomore edition has been in the works for over a year now, with multiple samples popping up online, showing slow but steady changes to the design. Over the last few weeks, we’ve finally had more official looks at the shoe, including a “Lucid Orange” pair set to drop during the 2026 All-Star festivities.
This week, another vivid colorway of the AE2 has surfaced, with a release date currently scheduled for early in 2026. The new look comes in a “Lucid Pink” variety, which applies a hot pink shade to the upper’s textile elements. The TPU rubber support pieces that line the toes and heels comes in an off-white shade, and frame black elements to break up the color blocking. This pair also sports a black inner body, with more pink accents to complete the look.
