adidas has strengthened their 4D Run 1.0 lineup in 2020 and now they are set to release a “Triple Black” edition which may be their best yet.
It’s safe to say 4D has not panned out to he what The Three Stripes had hoped it would be. Maybe due to the extremely high retail price upon debut or the quirky colors that were given to the silhouette, while 4D has been popular, it hasn’t been seen as the revolutionary tech it deserves to be seen as. But maybe the Universe has shifted as adidas has replaced the previous bright colors for a loved colorway, Triple Black.
The iteration arrives in all stealth. Sporting a black knit upper which sees lighter shades in places for contrast and texture. Tonal branding graces the tongue and side paneling where black Three Stripes make their coveted appearance. A hard black shell heel counter graces the heels for support while the futuristic 4D midsole and rubber outsole complete the “Triple Black” alignment.
