The PUMA Ralph Sampson has been on the warpath since its return in 2018. The vintage hoops silhouette made the transition to lifestyle with ease, and now, PUMA is finally offering more colorways of the modernized version, titled the Ralph Sampson MC.
PUMA’s Ralph Sampson silhouette was originally built for the man himself as one of the NBA’s first signature shoes. Then, decades later, it made a grand return to the German sportswear giant’s arsenal in 2018 as the brand’s Hoops division was getting back on its feet. Now, the Ralph Sampson is more popular than ever, and PUMA is doing all the right stuff to back it up. After introducing a modernized interpretation earlier this Summer in the form of the Sampson MC, this month the Cat is following it up with an animal print iteration of the sleek silhouette. Starting with a plain white base, the new look adds overlays to the heel and toe featuring both zebra striping and leopard spots and is finished off by gold foil detailing.

PUMA’s latest update to the signature Ralph Sampson has been scheduled to debut tomorrow, on October 1st, 2020. Subtitled the MC, the new “Wildcat” color scheme will launch from both PUMA and select retailers with a price tag of just $80.
