The Diadora N9002 has been the base for some of our favorite sneaker projects in recent years, namely END. Clothing’s “Lido” pair from last year. Now, the Italian brand has tapped LC23 to deliver their take on the N9002, featuring the Pink Panther.
Diadora’s luxurious Made-in-Italy sneakers have provided canvases for some of our favorite collaborations of the last few years, and they’re making another run for the money in 2020. This week, Diadora quietly released a new colorway of the fan-favorite N9002, made in collaboration with Italy’s LC23 brand, and themed after the one and only Pink Panther. Born from a mutual love of cartoons, (LC23 previously tapped Popeye for a collaboration), thee “Pink Panther” N9002 was made to cap off LC23’s collaborative clothing collection that goes with is. Made entirely in Italy, this N9002 is constructed from a perforated leather base layer with beautiful suede overlays in grey, and a highly-detailed embroidered section on each heel, featuring the face of the Panther.
LC23 X DIADORA N9002 “PINK PANTHER” RELEASE INFORMATION
The special “Pink Panther”-themed released from Italian-based LC23 and Diadora released quietly earlier this week, and is still available directly from the Italian shoemakers’ website. The special-edition release of the N9002 comes with a whopping $240 price tag, due to being made in Italy, and is currently exclusively available from Diadora.
