After their debut collection for Earth Day last year, PUMA and sustainability partner First Mile are teaming up once again for a massive collection in 2020, including a whopping total of six sneakers and twelve pieces of recycled fabric apparel.
Sustainability is the name of the game in the footwear and apparel industries right now, as excessive consumerism and a penchant for careless manufacturing become rising problems around the world. Luckily, sneaker brands are more than happy to go to bat for their product, with many transitioning into less wasteful practices for material use. One of these brands is PUMA, which has partnered with First Mile to introduce recycled materials into their clothing and sneakers. The first release from the two dropped last year, but if you’re still looking for some, they’ve got plenty more for you in their “Earth Day” collection, which drops this week. Featuring an array of PUMA footwear, the project includes both running and lifestyle options for men and women like the H.ST.20, Hybrid Fuego, and the LQDCELL Hydra. Apparel pieces including full running kits in men’s’ and women’s’ sizing, all of which is constructed from a whopping minimum of 83% recycled material, with some even reaching 100%.

The upcoming project from PUMA and First Mile, featuring a wave of sustainably-produced apparel and footwear, is scheduled to launch later this week, on April 22nd, 2020, Earth Day. The collection will be available from both PUMA and select retail partners, with prices ranging from just $23 all the way to $110.
