Nike’s collaborative efforts continue to prosper as they continue their partnership with Japanese luxury brand sacai. With two previous models and color variations under their belt, the two join forces once again for a third colorway of the Nike Blazer High.
sacai has not been shy to challenge the conventional notions of a collaboration, taking it a step further from simple colorways and completely changing Nike’s iconic model by superimposing it on itself. Nike and sacai have shown two monochromatic renditions of the Blazer model, this time they created another “Blazer With the Dunk” silhouette that dons an identical aesthetic to its first two iterations. While the composition of the shoe is similar, the vibrant color scheme is much different and is sure to keep fans in anticipation for its upcoming release.
As previously mentioned, the most notable characteristic of this sacai x Nike Blazer rendition is the vibrant yellow and blue color blocking seen throughout the upper of the shoe. Much like its predecessor, this model is also composed of their now recognizable “double” motif: it boasts a double exposed tongue, a white sole, black and white shoe laces, and a swoosh that creates a mixture of elements that blend together effortlessly, paralleling the brand’s partnership.
