The first time we saw a navy blue suede Air Jordan 11 with Derek Jeter’s name on it, only 5 pairs were ever produced. Now, Jordan Brand is giving the rest of us a shot with a low-top version of the same silhouette releasing globally next week
Derek Jeter and Jordan Brand have made a great team over the years. Jeter’s Hall of Fame level play has rocketed him into conversations around the worlds’ best baseball players, an incredible honor for the Yankee great. To assist his performance both on and off the diamond, Jordan has been hooking up The Captain with special edition sneakers for years now, and since his retirement, those limited edition PEs have begun releasing to consumers.
The new Air Jordan 11 Low “Re2pect” first appeared on our radars very early this year. Now, after several reported release dates, we know that the Jeter-themed 11 will arrive in stores next week. This low-cut Jordan 11 is wrapped almost entirely in premium suede dyed navy blue for the Yankees. The midsole and outsole will come in a milky white color. Finally, this special edition Jordan 11 is complete by both “Re2pect” and #2 details, as well as blue leather laces.
