Birkenstock 1774 Uerzell Design
The Uerzell merges a lace up sneaker upper with the shape of a traditional clog. Sculpted proportions and an elevated sole give it a chunkier stance than a standard mule, and a natural cork midsole stays visible along the side.
Each pair carries the signature Birkenstock Blue Footbed, a removable anatomical insole. The outsole uses Birkenstock’s classic bone pattern, and the 1774 studio emblem is embossed in blue.
Who Is Thibo Denis?
Thibo Denis is a French designer and the design director of men’s ready to wear, shoes and accessories at Louis Vuitton. He designed the Uerzell in partnership with Birkenstock 1774, the brand’s Paris based special projects unit.
