Air Jordan 6 “Sport Blue” Design
White leather covers most of the upper, with black on the tongue, heel and sockliner. Sport Blue hits the Jumpman on the lace shroud, the lace lock and sections of the heel spoiler, carrying down to a white and sport blue midsole with a visible Air unit in the heel. A black and icy translucent outsole finishes the look.
Nike Air branding is expected to return to the heel for the first time since 1991, replacing the Jumpman branding used on the 2014 retro. The shape is also expected to shift closer to the original, which Tinker Hatfield designed during Michael Jordan’s first championship season, drawing on the shape of Jordan’s German sports car.
