Fire Red was also one of three OG Air Jordan 4 colorways built to meet NBA uniform rules at the time, giving it a white based look rather than the darker tones seen elsewhere in the line. The Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red” Design
On the shoe itself, white covers most of the upper, while red accents run through the eyelet clips, the interior lining, a large portion of the midsole and the branding on the tongue and heel. Black fills in beneath the mesh windows and reappears on the mustache overlay, the eyelet wings and another section of the midsole, with grey reserved for the outsole. Some reports expect the pair to keep the Nike Air branding on the heel, consistent with past Fire Red releases.
