Nike’s partnership with DOAF has taken off this year, with releases landing nearly every month. Next week, the two will release “The Beautiful Game” Total 90, bringing a rainbow woven upper to the retro soccer shoe.
The NIL program has dramatically changed the way we view collegiate athletes for the better. Name, image, and likeness rights have long been disputed at a college level, with institutions arguing that athletes shouldn’t be able to get paid for endorsements while in school. The longtime ban finally lifted in 2021, allowing all levels of collegiate athletes to finally capitalize on their names and faces being used across school advertising, in sports games, and more. The University of Oregon set up their Ducks of a Feather program in collaboration with Nike, funneling proceeds directly to their school athletes, and raising the money through limited edition Nike collaborations.
DOAF and Nike have been hard at work this year, dropping tons of new heat throughout 2026 so far. Next week will bring another sneaker release, this time celebrating the FIFA World Cup through the Total 90 indoor soccer shoe. This release will land in the final stages of the tournament, celebrating “The Beautiful Game” with a rainbow woven upper, representing any color combination for a national flag. This is the first time we’ve seen Nike’s nylon weave applied to the T90, and other details include the medial wall ’90’ branding replaced with a 26 for the year, and DOAF branding on the outer heels.

Ducks of a Feather’s next limited-edition Nike collaboration is scheduled to release next week, on July 14th, 2026. The project will arrive in time for the final rounds of the World Cup, celebrating the occasion with the Total 90 indoor soccer shoe in a new rainbow woven construction. Like always, the shoe will be available exclusively through the GOAT app, and are limited to just 300 pairs worldwide. Pricing is currently unknown.
