Nike’s top-shelf running sneakers are having a moment this Summer, thanks in part to their successful collab with Melitta Baumeister earlier this year. Now, the Pegasus Premium will don a new split theme for a black & white Yin/Yang pack, coming soon.
Running is back in style this year, with a new generation taking up the torch for one of the world’s oldest sports. Run clubs are the hot new activity for a younger generation, often as a way to make new friends and relationships, while getting active and being outside. New brands focused on performance running are dominating the collaborative side of sneakers right now, like Minted NY’s ongoing relationship with Saucony, Satisfy’s recent team-up with adidas, and Bandit and Nike have now entered the race. Nike’s biggest and boldest everyday running shoes, the Pegasus Premium and Vomero Premium, got a boost form their Melitta Baumesiter collaboration earlier this year, and the Swoosh is now pushing these models as flagship sneakers. The Pegasus Premium seems to be the favored silhouette, with more interesting colors landing on the super tall silhouette. This week, two new styles have surfaced for Summer 2026, pitting the shoe in matching yin & yang colors. Pairs are split at the middle between a black half and white half, using no-sew taping to add an extra layer of protection to both styles.
NIKE PEGASUS PREMIUM “YIN/YANG” PACK RELEASE INFORMATION
The new pairing of Nike RUnning’s Pegasus Premium model has not been announced yet, but is expected to land soon for Summer 2026. The two new colorways are opposites of one another, sporting clean-cut sections in black or white for the top or lower halves of the shoe. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $220.
