Nike’s big Air Max Day release in 2026 was the “Bandana” AM95, a colorful take on the shoe’s layered upper. The paisley pattern will return in a second edition soon, casting the runner in a neutral palette and laser-etching the intricate pattern.
The Air Max 95 has been on a hell of a run in the last two years. The iconic Nike running shoe celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in 2025, kicking off its return with a special Big Bubble “Neon” release, dropped in extremely limited quantities for Air Max Day ’25. New releases were nonstop after that, with several new and classic colors landing on shelves every month into 2026. The Neon color scheme returned for a wider release for 2026’s Air Max Day celebration, along with a handful of other styles like the colorful “Bandana” edition as their biggest release of the day. Covered in a paisley pattern across its many layers, Nike is running back the patterned look for another, much more subtle release this season. Instead of loud, colorful layers for this pair, the “Laser Paisley” edition dresses the shoe in shades of grey and tan, with the pattern etched into the leather components to show a lighter, burnt shade of brown.

The next paisley patterned edition of the Air Max 95 from Nike does not have a set release date yet, but is presumably coming soon in Summer 2026. Following the colorful “Bandana” look from this year’s Air Max Day celebration, this look opts for a palette of neutral tones with laser etched details. Pairs will be available through both Nike and select retailers, possibly with a price tag higher than the standard $190 for an AM95.
