Nike’s Air Max 90 has taken on an interesting role this season, reinterpreting classic Air colorways in a new way. This week, the Air 180’s “Ultramarine” style has emerged in 90 form, coming later this month.
The Air Max franchise has largely been focused on one model over the past year; the Air Max 95. Nike’s anniversary celebration for the iconic shoe has extended well into 2026, bringing us more new releases and second chances at popular styles like the OG Neon, Pink Foam, and more. Back in early March, during the Neon’s global release, the Air Max 90 tagged along for the ride doing its best impression of the iconic Neon palette. This week, a pair of the 90 has surfaced sporting the signature colorway of another Air Max model, the Air 180’s “Ultramarine” style. The look features a white mesh base with overlays in Coconut Milk and Base Grey shades. Just like the 180, Swooshes and inner linings come in Sport Royal blue, with a neon red accent around the sole’s Air bubble.

The latest style of Nike’s Air Max 90 to don another classic Air Max style has been scheduled to release soon, on April 14th, 2026. Borrowing the OG “Ultramarine” palette from the Air 180, this special mixes blue and red accents over a white and grey base. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $150.
