Nike has tons of upcoming products ready for the FIFA World Cup this Summer. They’ve lined up a number of Air Max 95 styles for the countries they will sponsor, adding a stealthy “Korea” colorway this week.
Nike is preparing for a big Summer soccer celebration this year, with the FIFA World Cup taking place across North America. The Swoosh is sponsoring eleven different national teams for this year’s tournament, and outfitting each with tons of fresh gear. In addition to the team kits, Nike has plans for several special sneaker releases focused on each partner, particularly through the Air Max 95. So far, we’ve seen special edition styles for England and Mexico, and now Korea’s pair has emerged. This version of the iconic runner comes doused in black across its many layers, but adds plenty of bright accents to mimic Korea’s neon-lit city scapes. Gold Leaf yellow lines the inside of the shoe, while a Volt green accent appears on the lower-most piping and the Air bag inserts. Silver 3M piping lines the rest of the upper’s layers, while brown lacing loops complete the look.
NIKE AIR MAX 95 “KOREA” RELEASE INFORMATION
Nike’s latest addition to their globetrotting Air Max 95 series has not been officially announced yet, but is likely on the way in time for the FIFA World Cup kickoff this Summer. The “Korea” colorway mixes a jet black upper with hi-vis accents in yellow and green, with a hint of 3M piping. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $190.
