Division Street and Nike are back with another Ducks of a Feather release this month. Touching down for Air Max Day, the Air Max 95 dons two Oregon-themed colorways; “Lumber Yard” and “The Woods”, with proceeds going to the university’s NIL program.
Nike has called Beaverton, Oregon home since the brand’s inception in the ’60s. The brand was founded by alumni of the University of Oregon, and pulls a large chunk of their employees from the school, many of whom were athletes in Nike-sponsored athletic programs there. In recent years, a group of UO alumni founded Division Street, a venture company that uses marketing programs and exclusive Swoosh sneakers to generate NIL revenue for student athletes. The sneaker projects from Nike are released under the branding ‘Ducks of a Feather’, referencing The Duck, the school’s mascot.
This week, Division St. and Nike are preparing to release their latest exclusive sneaker offerings for the DOAF program. While the shoes will be sold to benefit student athletes, this drop also lines up perfectly with Nike’s Air Max Day holiday, and they’ve chosen the Air Max 95 as their canvas for this release. The retro runner will come in two colorways for this release, each inspired by an element of one of Oregon’s largest industries; logging. The first style, “The Woods”, represents the states lush green forests, applying shades of green suede across the silhouette’s layered upper. The “Lumber Yard” colorway represents the end result of logging, dressing the silhouette in shades of brown, each with a unique wood texture to complete the look. Both pairs feature University of Oregon and DOAF branding on the insoles.

The next release from Division St. and Nike’s Ducks of a Feather program has been scheduled to release this month, first on March 21st at Flight Club, followed by an online release from GOAT on March 26th. The Air Max 95 comes dressed in two colorways inspired by Oregon’s infrastructure, the “Lumber Yard” in brown, and “The Woods” in rich green tones. Pairs of these custom styles will come with a $250 price tag.
