The Nike Flyknit Trainer Will Release in Two Colorways This Spring

Last year the Nike Flyknit Trainer received the grand comeback it deserved, though somewhere along the line it took a wrong turn. This Spring, Nike will try to correct their course with an OG “Oreo” colorway and a brand new “Triple Black” rendition.

The Flyknit Trainer was one of the most anticipated models of 2017, and originally returned in the OG black and white colorway. Commonly known as the ‘Yeknit’ due to how the price skyrocketed after Kanye West wore them curing his Nike days, the colorway did well and sold out immediately at all retailers. Nike followed this with a “Pale Grey” iteration that was a nice consolation prize for those who missed the first drop. After that, a series of bright, odd colorways in yellow, baby blue, and deep purple came out, leaving some disgruntled with how the Swoosh handled the return of the trainer. Now, it appears they have two more colorways in the works for 2018, the first being the OG “Oreo” which featyres opposite colors in the upper from the ‘Yeknit, and a new all-black model. Check out the photos below for a closer look at the shoes as well as release information.
