The rollout of the brand new adidas NMD Racer is still underway, so far including the original black colorway along with a collaborative effort with Chinese boutique Juice. Now, a hot pink colorway of the new silhouette has emerged.
The Racer, a lifestyle shoe, takes inspiration from some of the iconic athletic shoes in the history of adidas, the adiZero series. adiZero was created for running with two different ideals in mind: reduce weight, and increase speed. The Racer hopes to combine these two design directives with the popularity and comfort of the NMD, slimming the silhouette into a more distinct runner shape. This iteration sees the Primeknit upper blanketed in bright hot pink. The suede support patch on the heel is matched to the same colorway, and the Quickstrike grip on the soles comes in a hit of pink and neon yellow. ADIDAS NMD RACER HOT PINK RELEASE DATE
The NMD Racer in hot pink is scheduled to release on February 1st, 2018, at both adidas and select adidas retailers. The shoes will retail for $170. Stay tuned for updates.
