The Nike Air Max 1 has been an icon in the brand’s catalog since its debut in the late 1980s. The first-ever visible Air shoe has once again become a staple in recent years, bringing dozens of new colors to the silhouette. This week, we have an early look at a new “Wolf Grey” style for the Fall 2024 lineup, coming soon.
Nike’s Air Max 1 has returned as a staple of Nike’s releases over the last few years, since the silhouette’s Anniversary edition released in a few colorways in 2020. Since then, the retro runner has donned dozens of interesting new styles and special-edition looks, including some re-releases and rehashes of iconic color schemes, like the Air Max Day Big Bubble editions. Now, Nike has revealed a handful of fresh colorways for the rest of 2024, bringing some simple neutral looks to the iconic model.
Among Nike’s next batch of Air Max 1 colorways is a new pair in a “Wolf Grey” color scheme. The pair features a white mesh for its base layers, adding soft grey nubuck for the midfoot paneling. The darker Wolf shade of grey makes up the shoe’s suede mudguards and Swooshes, as well as a few other accents spots around the silhouette.

Nike’s upcoming “Wolf Grey” colorway of the Air Max 1 has not been scheduled to release yet, though they will arrive sometime later in 2024. Cast in white and grey, pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $140.
