Nike’s World Tour series for the Air Force 1 Low is back this year. The collection was first announced earlier this year with the “Seoul” pair, and this week, the Swoosh unveiled another pair from the collection during their SNKRS Showcase, this time celebrating Paris with a “Black Tea” and “Petra Brown” color scheme.
Nike is set to take off on a World Tour this year, taking the Air Force 1 along for the ride in a series of city-themed color schemes. The project was first unveiled during their first SNKRS Showcase preview event last Fall, showing off three colorways for Las Vegas, which released early this year, Seoul, which arrives in the Fall of this year, and Shanghai, currently slated for a Holiday 2024 release. This week, the brand held its second livestream of a Showcase, previewing new releases for the rest of 2024 and early 2025. Among them was another addition to the World Tour series, this time celebrating Paris with a dark new look.
The upcoming “Paris” edition of the Air Force 1 World Tour takes its inspiration from an unlikely source; the cities catacombs. The catacombs are a labyrinthine system of tunnels running underneath the city that were originally built in the late 1700s as overflow storage for the city’s cemeteries. Nike has cast this pair of the Air Force 1 Low in colors inspired by the tunnels, which begins with a dark “Black Tea” shade of green leather for the base. The overlays are added in a deep brown shade, while black accents complete the rest of the palette.

Nike’s new “Paris” edition of the Air Force 1 Low has not been given a set release date yet, but has been announced for release sometime in Fall 2024. The dark green and brown color scheme from the World Tour collection will launch via the SNKRS app and select retailers, with an expected price tag of $150.
