Nike will be blending two of their most popular Air Max silhouettes with the Air Max 97 surfacing in a design that’s inspired by the OG Air Max 1.
While the Air Max 97 is in the mix of its 25th Anniversary celebration, the sneaker will be taking a step back and celebrating silhouettes that came before, like the Air Max 1. This design is set to honor the OG University Red design which we saw a couple of years back in the form of a re-release in 2017. Now the design will be replicated on the AM97 for a design you won’t want to miss. Featuring a white mesh base, the sneaker is contrasted by grey and red leather overlay detailing as red embroidery is used via the Nike Swoosh branding. To complete the rendition, a white midsole, red Air unit, and grey outsole complete the brand new design.
