As crazy as it sounds, the McDonald’s All-American Game will be celebrating their 45th anniversary in March of 2022 and for the special occasion, the adidas Trae Young 1 will be dropping in a special commemorative rendition.
Although Trae Young could be celebrating the special anniversary of a special American high school basketball game, the NBA star also has his own ties to the game with making his McD’s All-American debut back in 2017. Now as the game will be celebrating 45 years of performance and a lot of special players, Trae Young’s first signature shoe will be dropping in a bright McDonald’s theme for the occasion.
Featuring a red, yellow, and navy mesh upper, the sneaker features navy and yellow overlays throughout while a red Lightstrike midsole and Boost heel unit are added to the bottoms which are completed by a red outsole. For branding, adidas Three Stripes logos are added to the sides while a McDonald’s All-American logo graces the heels as a special “45” is included on the lace covers to celebrate the special year.
