It’s signature shoe season and Jordan Brand will be kicking off the year by revealing Russel Westbrook’s new silhouette the Jordan Why Not .5.
Revealed on the court over Christmas weekend and now being revealed in four different colorways, Russel’s Jordan Why Not .5 is finally here and it looks great. Sporting a newly redesigned translucent upper, the sneaker provides many different opportunities for new colorways thanks to the utility design of numerous panelings and overlays, creating a sneaker that’s withstanding and refreshing. Featuring four debut colorways dedicated to Westbrooks’ life both on and off the court, the sneaker is set for a “Childhood” rendition that’s dedicated to Russ’ three kids which will be released March 1st. The next pair scheduled for March 15th is dubbed “Raging Grace”, which celebrates the NBA All-Star’s impressive on-court playing style. The other scheduled offering arrives with the “Hype Music” nickname and is scheduled for April 5th and is inspired by his pre-game ritual of listening to music. The fourth “Inner City” rendition has yet to be scheduled but arrives in celebration of Russ’ return to his California roots.
