Nike’s Air Max 90 has remained a staple in their arsenal since its anniversary celebration last year. Now, the Swoosh is presenting the classic run in all kinds of colorways, like this butterfly-inspired kids pair, coming soon.
Nike’s Air Max 90 releases have been balls to the wall this year, with new colorways arriving in stores on a near-weekly basis. However, this has not stopped the team behind the remastered classic from trying out some wild new color schemes, like the butterfly-branded pair that surfaced in GS sizing earlier this week. Reconstructed from canvas and ripstop with a tumbled leather overlay, this pair mixes shades of cream and grey with bright accents in blue, red, yellow, and teal green, all while sneaking in a few butterfly motifs, like the butterfly printed on the insoles or the caterpillar wrapping around the Swoosh on each heel.

Nike’s latest colorway of the Air Max 90 in kids’ sizing has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to drop sometime in the coming weeks. The butterfly-inspired look willl be available from both Nike and select retailers, likely with a price tag of approximately $110. UPDATE 1/9/21: Nike’s colorful “Air Sprung” style of the Air Max 90 has now been slated to release in the coming weeks, on February 1st, 2022. The multicolor look will be available from select retailers like JD Sports and Footlocker, with a price tag of $140.
