Nike’s Pivot Point Air Force 1 Low is Loaded With 3M Reflective Details

Nike’s Air Force 1 Low surfaced in an interesting new “Pivot Point” color scheme this week, decorating a classic white on white with some major 3M details. While information is sparse, we expect to see these on shelves before the year is out.

Nike’s Air Force has borrowed inspiration from numerous other Swoosh silhouettes over the years, adding small details or entire panels to mimic fan-favorite Nike shoes. Now, that inspiration is going to a whole new level for the Air Force 1 Low “Pivot Point”, which appears to be taking inspiration directly from the AF1’s own outsole. This special-edition pair, otherwise constructed from simple white leather, features black Swooshes and heel tabs each embossed with a circular pattern mimicking that of the AF1 outsole. These pieces are made from some kind of 3M reflective material, making them shine under direct light. The “Pivot Point” Air Force also adds some orange pull tabs to each shoe, allowing you to slip these on and off without undoing your laces.
