Nike’s retro lineup of footwear has brought us some of our favorite silhouettes in recent years, and it looks like the Swoosh is about to do it again with their latest archival release. Check out the 1989 Lahar Boot, returning soon.
Nike’s pre-2000s archives are absolutely choc-full of hidden gems and unearthed retros, but the Swoosh team has a special knack for reaching back in time to revive a forgotten silhouette perfect for the modern-day. Back in January, the Swoosh unveiled plans for a retro release of the Lahar boot, a low-top, durable silhouette with grippy soles for all conditions. After selling out in the initial retro colorways, now Nike is back with another release, this time casting the Lahar in a smooth “Fossil Stone” color scheme. The fresh new style paints the upper entirely in a tonal off-white shade, with metal lace grommets and black Swooshes for branding, while a solid black rubber outsole completes the look.

Nike’s latest release of the retro Lahar Boot has not yet been scheduled to drop though they are expected to land on shelves sometime in the coming weeks. The low-cut suede boot in a tonal off-white color will be available directly from Nike via the SNKRS app, with a price tag of $130.
