3Sixteen, the Los Angeles-based apparel brand, first teamed up with Saucony last Summer for a performance running release. Now, they’re going back in time to issue a more lifestyle-friendly Guide v7.3s in two new colorways.
3Sixteen and Saucony are back this season for their sophomore collaboration, leaning away from strict performance running and embracing a lifestyle approach through a classic, retro runner. Their first project dropped last Summer, and featured the Peregrine 15, a then-brand new trail running shoe, cast in white tones to create a blank canvas for customization. Now, they are looking back in time to Saucony’s archival sneakers, particularly one of their best running shoes of the 21st century. The Guide 7 originally released in 2008, and was bestowed the Show of the Year award from the Independent Running Retailers Association two years in a row. Now, 3S is reimagining the model for everyday wear, upgrading the materials and dressing it in two color presentations.
Saucony’s retro running shoes have become quite a hit in the sneaker world over the last few years. The Pennsylvania brand has leaned into the tech runner aesthetic, teaming up with a wide range of brands and retailers to rehash some of their classics. 3Sixteen’s take on the retro Guide model comes with a new name; v7.3s. Seemingly borrowing from software configurations, the 3s at the end likely represents their name, as it is printed on the shoe’s insoles. The two executions available next week are vastly different from one another; the first come entirely in a lime tennis ball green shade, while the second mixes grey tones across its mesh and suede layers. This pair also mixes in a rusted pink accent for the lining and outsoles, as well as an aged yellow shade for lacing and midsole accents.
3SIXTEEN X SAUCONY GUIDE V7.3S RELEASE INFORMATION
The next release from 3Sixteen and Saucony has been scheduled to land next week, starting on March 12th, 2026, from 3s’ website and stores in NYC & LA. Saucony will drop their stock the following day, March 13th, along with a selection of global retail partners. The Guide v7.3s will come in two colorways, one tonal style in a tennis ball green shade, and a neutral grey look, paired with soft pink and cream accents. Pairs will come with a $165 price tag.
