In a pack that we never expected, Jordan Brand will be releasing the “New Beginnings” Pack that features the 1984 PE Air Ship and 1985 Air Jordan 1 that features the original high cut all in one limited edition box.
This pack is what excludes Jordan Brand from other sneaker brands. While other companies have came up in the past years and given the Jumpman a run for their money, Jordan just has a history that nobody can compare too. So many shoes have been kept PE’s and never have seen releases as well as releases went down in the 80’s and never returned again while sneaker fans crave a re-release. The history is here and it’s so easy to love a shoe that has Michael Jordan’s player memories attached all over them.
The Air Ship PE Jordan was worn by MJ in 1984 and features a white leather upper with red contrasting accents throughout. The 1985 pair is more similar to a design we’d see today as it arrives with white paneling but red is also used on the toe, heel, and ankle overlay that adds the Jordan 1 look we all have come accustomed too. The two pairs will arrive in the same box that is designed to be split by years so collectors, this is your grail.

As of now, we don’t have a release date just yet but expect new information to surface soon. Most likely these will be seen at the beginning portion of next year at select retailer and Nike.com. It will be interesting to see the retail price on these as well as all the demand that they’ll accumulate, I’m sure everyone and their brother will be out to get a pair.
