The adidas NMD lineup is ever expanding, though this year they’ve spent a significant amount of time with the OG silhouette, the R1. Now a beloved lifestyle shoe in the sneaker scene, the NMD first launched in 2015 as a modern runner inspired by three of their archive models, and utilizing the best materials adidas has to offer. As per their usual schedule, adidas is set to release a string of new NMD_R1 colorways for the new season, like the vibrant new multicolor makeup. The new NMD begins with a rainbow multicolor knit pattern for the upper, framed by black stripes and lacing system. The heel tab and midsole EVA pods are done in black to match the rest of the detailing, while the Boost midsole comes in its natural white state.

adidas’ bright new take on the NMD_R1 silhouette is available now from Eastbay, with a wider release expected in the coming weeks. This multicolor iteration retails for the same $130 price tag as its predecessors and will release from a variety of retailers.
