Virgil Abloh has been hard at work preparing for the Spring/Summer 2019 season. With a few leaked images, the lineup of new Off-White x Nike sneakers looks to be pretty invasive. Check out this first look at the Off White x Nike Vapor Street.

The life of Virgil must be a crazy one, being the CEO of Off-White, artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s Menswear, a professional DJ, and also a partner with Nike, the man has built quite the resume. This summer the collaboration between Abloh and Nike look to take a giant leap from what we have seen in the past. “The Ten” collection featured collaboratory sneakers that featured popular models such as the Jordan 1, Air Force 1, and the Air Max 97. Now it looks like the two plan to turn the page and allow new visions of silhouettes to come to fruition as Virgil’s artistic expertise shines on these newer editions.

For example, a couple of weeks back, images were revealed of the Off-White x Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5, and it is definitely something that is fresh out of the water. Now, it looks like for another release appearing this Spring/Summer season, Virgil has taken inspirations from both the Vaporfly and also the Zoom Fly and combined each into one sneaker.

Appearing in three different colorways so far, each take on their designated look of black/pink, yellow/white and blue/white. No matter what your taste or color coordination is, the pack has got something for you. The shoes apply modernized technology to a ’70s runner and it works perfectly. As always you can expect the Nike Swoosh to be placed in grand fashion across the midfoot and Off-White stencil branding to be placed on the medial side of the shoe. New aspects that we saw of the Zoom Terra Kiger 5 such as an unconventional lacing system and track spikes on the bottom of the outsole are featured on these as well. Overall, a very unique model from Virgil and Nike, it will definitely be interesting to see how these are perceived from the community upon release.
