Los Angeles-based surf brand Stüssy and Nike have been on a run of releases in recent years, with no signs of slowing down. Today, we have our first look at the partner’s upcoming Air Max 2015, dressed in their signature ‘Fossil’ color scheme.
The relationship between Stüssy and Nike was revived in 2020, and has been steadily releasing new projects since. Marking the first-ever collaboration between Nike and a streetwear brand in the early 2000s, Stüssy holds a special place in the world of sneakers, one that grows stronger with each impressive collaboration. After releasing their Air Force 1 this Spring, the Air Max 2015 has surfaced this week, likely releasing as their next-up project. Constructed from a hemp-constructed mesh with some additional tape overlays, the shoe makes somewhat of an odd choice for a canvas for the two brands, but looks good in Stüssy’s signature ‘Fossil’ colorway, which covers the shoe from toe to heel, save for the backwards Swoosh in black along the collars of each shoe.
STUSSY X NIKE AIR MAX 2013 RELEASE INFORMATION
Stüssy and Nike’s upcoming Air Max 2013 in their signature color scheme has not yet been announced for release, though we are likely to see them in the near future. The fan-favorite ‘Fossil’ colorway will likely release from both partners as well as select retailers, with a price tag of $160 or more, based on the shoe’s original retail price. UPDATE 8/9/22: Stüssy and Nike’s ‘Fossil’ colorway of the Air Max 2013 has been scheduled to release again this week, from the SNKRS app on Friday, August 12th. The black and pink colorways have not yet surfaced for another drop, though the black pair is likely to pop up alongside the smooth hemp model.
UPDATE 8/3/22: Nike and Stussy’s upcoming release of the Air Max 2013 is scheduled to launch this Friday, August 5th, 2022. The Black, Pink, and Hemp colorways will come with a hefty price tag of $210. While no release for the SNKRS app has been announced yet, we expect at least two of the colorways to release again there and from select retailers.
