Sacai and Nike unveiled their latest collaboration during the Japanese brand’s Paris Fashion Week show. Featuring the Air Footscape, pairs are expected to drop in Fall/Winter 2023.
Japanese fashion label Sacai will continue its partnership with Nike through this year, revamping some of the Swoosh’s iconic footwear with their signature ‘rebuilt’ spin. Following their double-layered take on the Cortez that released this season, Sacai unveiled their project for Fall/Winter, which features the Air Footscape in a small batch of colorways. Seen here in runway photos, the remixed version showcases a boot-like collar with studded eyelets for the lacing system, with both a traditional lace and an adjustable locking system in place. The first color scheme mixes a bright blue tone with grey and black accents, while the brown pair adds pale coyote tan accents. Finally, the all-black look adds touches of bright red for the final look.
SACAI X NIKE AIR FOOTSCAPE RELEASE INFORMATION
Sacai’s upcoming release of the Nike Air Footscape has not yet been announced, though they are expected to launch sometime in the Fall/Winter 2023 season. Arriving in three colorways, blue, brown, and black, pairs will likely be available from both brand’s as well as select retailers with an elevated price tag of $180 or more. UPDATE 11/20/23: Just ahead of the release of the new woven VaporWaffle this week, Sacai’s new Nike MagmaScape silhouette has emerged in its official images. Additionally, a tentative release date of December 7th, 2023 is rumored. Arriving in three colorways, Black, Varsity Blue, and Light British Tan, pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $200.
