adidas and Reebok are up to something special. Earlier this week, the two announced a new project that would combine one of Reebok’s most famous silhouettes with adidas’ biggest midsole technology, creating the InstaPump Fury Boost.

adidas and Reebok are sharing their technology. In the grand scheme of footwear collaboration, its a pretty big deal for two major brands like this to work directly with each other, sharing knowledge and technology between each other. However, the recent announcement of the InstaPump Fury Boost is not their first swing at this. Just last month, in August, the two released the Reebok Sole Fury Boost, a lifestyle silhouette from Reebok that launched late in 2018. However, the latest project is something much more enticing. Originally designed back in 1994, the Reebok Instapump Fury Boost is something they would’ve tried 25 years ago if they had the means, according to the shoe’s designer, Steven Smith. The new look will likely release in one of the shoe’s original colorways, with an all-white Boost midsole.

Currently, there is no set date for the release of the adidas x Reebok Instapump Fury Boost, though we are expecting them to drop sometime in the next few weeks for an elevated retail price.
