With Kawhi and the Clippers competing in the 2021 Playoffs for their chance at a trip to the Finals, the star will be dropping a version of his New Balance signature shoe dedicated to his hometown Moreno Valley.
With Kawhi returning home to California with his LA Clippers signing in 2019, the NBA star has made a special point of honoring the state and region that built him and his career. Going out and getting permission from the City, for this rendition of the Kawhi, the Moreno Valley official seal is included on the tongues which lead into the colors of blue, yellow, and brown being included throughout the mesh and suede upper. Along with the special sneaker, New Balance, Kawhi Leonard, and the NBA 2K Foundation will be donating a basketball court and playground to the city of Moreno Valley’s Weston Park. A true testament of a star paying it back to the community that raised him.
