Don’t grab your glasses they aren’t fooling you, you read that correctly. The Inertia colorway that released on the 700 V1 a couple of months back will adorn the adidas Yeezy 700 V2 very soon for an updated fresh look.
Something very interesting is upon us. A colorway that was used on a previous model is being brought out on a newer edition to provide the same aesthetic but a different updated look. Although fans were not pleased with the news that Yeezy Mafia dropped off this morning, the interesting thing to take from this is that a window of opportunity has been opened up for adidas and Kanye. Marking the first time a colorway has been used twice, we can start seeing other colorways do the same thing. For example the OG 700, the Wave Runner can be re-released on a 700 V2. The opportunities are endless if they allow colorways to cross from one model to the other and it is definitely something to look out for moving forward.
For this 700 V2 though, it arrives with the same look the 700 Inertia did months back. The grey upper with a pop of salmony-orange on the midsole definitely was a colorway that fans loved and to be honest the 700 V2 looks to hold the colorway a bit better than its predecessor. The simplistic aesthetic of the V2 goes hand in hand with Kanye’s monochromatic grey upper and overall looks very nice. One minor change on the design to note is that the matte creamy outsole is replaced with an icy one to give it a fresh new look compared to the original.

The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 “Inertia” is expected to arrive this September, so not that far away.
