Ja Morant will be the next NBA star to receive his signature shoe with Nike, dubbed the Nike Ja 1.
The new wave of NBA stars of tomorrow are here and we’re starting to see the upcoming names receive their own signature shoes. Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum and now Ja Morant will all be up next with either Nike or Jordan brand signature series coming soon. Ja and the Swoosh will be cooking up his first signature shoe which will likely be a popular one among fans thanks to the Grizzlies style off the court. While leaked images have yet to surface, the model’s first three renditions have been leaked which are set to feature Phantom/Action Green, Cobalt Bliss/Citron Tint, and Game Royal/Black. The model is expected to tell the story of Ja Morant with the many designs the shoe will feature.
NIK JA 1 RELEASE INFORMATION
The Ja Morant Nike signature model will be released in Summer of 2023 via select Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com. The retail price will be set for $110 each. UPDATE 12/26: Ja Morant took the court on Christmas day in his new signature shoe in a bold colorway dubbed “Day One”. April 2023 has been scheduled as an estimated timetable for a release.
