The Nike Dunk is celebrating 35 years in 2020, and as one of the most important shoes in sneaker history, its poised for a big year. Check out the upcoming Dunk Low “Kentucky”, previewed by Devin Booker this weekend.

Are you ready for the tidalwave of Nike Dunk releases coming throughout the year? If not, get ready, because Nike is just getting started. This weekend, during the NBA’s All-Star Game celebration, the Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker took a quick break from the festivities to show off a previously unseen colorway of the Dunk Low, said to be releasing in the coming months. Titled “Kentucky”, this Dunk’s deep royal blue overlays over its white leather base layer make it akin to the “Syracuse” Dunk Low that surfaced online earlier this week. While nothing was said about the nature of this release, it could be tied to the orange Syracuse pair through a retro college hoops pack, or even the new regional releases Nike is trying out. Stay tuned to find out.

The next colorway of Nike’s Dunk Low to release in celebration of the shoe’s 35 years has not yet been given an official drop date, but given their appearance in the hands of Nike athletes, we expect them to release in the coming weeks. The royal blue “Kentucky” colorway will likely retain the usual $100 price tag for a Dunk Low, and release from both Nike and select retailers.
