While COVID-19 hasn’t looked to slow down just yet, you have another reason to look forward to 2021 now. Nike appears to be returning the classic Nike Air Force 1 CO.JP “Wheat” from 2001 globally next year for a return of one of the most coveted AF1’s to date.

Back in 2001 when these Air Force 1’s released, the sneaker industry was an entirely different game. With no sneaker blogs like JustFreshKicks updating you on release calendars or social media pages making sure you don’t miss drops, many people did not know these Wheat Air Force 1’s were a thing due to them being a Japan exclusive. The sneaker was mainly for those who had connections or were huge sneakerheads that prided themselves into finding out the news themselves.

Now one of the best Air Force 1’s to date and with Nike showcasing a couple of the Japan-exclusive Jordan 1’s and SB Dunks this year, in 2021 the Air Force 1 “Wheat” is up next. Featuring its boot-inspired upper, wheat suede covers the entire shoe which features a tonal swoosh logo. Mocha Brown detailing is then used on the tongue, heel, and midsole branding while also covering the inner sockliner. A gum midsole and dark outsole then completes the new offering.
