OBJ just revealed a new iteration of his Nike Air Max 720 and this time around he has dedicated the silhouette to his alma mater, LSU.
Colleges play a special role in the lives of athletes. For many, it was their first shot at their lifetime dream of being a professional athlete. For the lucky ones, when they get their dream job, the bond between them and the Universities they went to is unbreakable. LSU and OBJ are a perfect example of just that. Even though he hasn’t been a player there for many years, the NFL star has always been dedicated to supporting the Tigers.
Now that he has his own shoe, the Air Max 720, it’s only right his alma mater’s colors of purple and gold paint his silhouette. From the looks of it, the upper arrives in white while yellow overlays brighten the sneaker up on the toe cap, heel, and tongue. Purple laces tie it down while a tonal tiger print covers the tongue. A translucent full-length Air Max sole then finishes off the special design.
