Originally released in 1989 for Christmas, the Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue” appears to be returning in 2022 in OG fashion.

2022 continues to get stronger for Jordan Brand. While we already have a huge handful of exclusive colorways returning from MJ’s prime to new editions that Jordan Brand will be testing out for the first time, the year is already stacked and from the looks of it, we haven’t even seen the half of it.

Last featured in the Air Jordan 4 “What The” colorway, the Military Blue edition will be back in OG form displaying one of the most coveted AJ4 colorways to exist. Dressed in White, Neutral Grey, and Military Blue, the sneaker opts for a white leather upper while featuring grey suede overlays around the toe and mudguard and blue accents throughout the design. Expect the coveted Nike Air branding to adorn the heels, insoles, and outsole in primetime Retro fashion.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro “Military Blue” is expected to be releasing sometime in 2022 most likely for Jordan Brand’s Holiday lineup. If the rumors are true, the shoes will be releasing at select Jordan retailers and Nike.com for the usual $220 price-tag. As always, stay tuned to JustFreshKicks as we wait for more details regarding official images and an expected release date. For now, you check out photos of the 1989 pair below.

UPDATE 7/29: Originally believed to be returning last year, the Military Blue 4s have reportedly been confirmed for 2022 thanks to information from jfgrails. The shoes first made an appearance more than 30 years ago, and will be returning in true OG form next year around the Holidays. For now this is all the details we have but as always, keep it locked for updates.
