The Air Jordan 1 Low has seen a number of new releases this year, recreating the original version as closely as possible. Now, the ‘Black Toe’ color scheme is rumored to return, arriving in Summer 2023.
The Air Jordan 1 Low has seen plenty of release over the past few years, but they largely take the form of a modern and modified version, with a reworked tongue and different branding. However, Nike has occasionally released the OG version, which features a proper heel tab at the back and a slightly lower profile, feeding our love for the classic versions. This week, a string of rumors has stated that more of these proper AJ1 Low styles will release in 2023, including the fan-favorite ‘Black Toe’ color scheme that originally released in 1985. Featuring a white base with a black forefoot overlay and red heels, the color blocking is one of the most beloved Jordan 1 styles, and one that we haven’t seen a proper release of in several years.
