The adidas P.O.D. System 3.1 is one of the most intriguing new silhouettes from the Three Stripes this year. This August, the new lifestyle model will start to incorporate color into each iteration, starting with this dark grey pair featuring orange hits.

The adidas Point of Defection System 3.1 was first leaked very early on this year. The silhouette caused a commotion among sneakerheads, sparking fierce debate about the validity of such an interesting-looking shoe. Since the pre-release in June, the new silhouette has done rather while. While enough pairs are available so that a sellout wasn’t guaranteed, the quality is high enough that it easily could have. Now, the Three Stripes is ready to fill shelves with their latest lifestyle runner. The latest adidas POD System 3.1 colorway to surface online is perhaps the sleekest colorway yet. The thick knit upper comes entirely in a medium grey tone, with most of the detailing like the stripes and midfoot support plate in a slightly darker hue. The sectioned midsole will come in a plain white state, with a grey rubber outsole to match the upper. Finally, the new POD System is completed by orange lettering around the sneaker.
