Vans’ celebrated Anaheim factory has been producing footwear for the California brand since their start in the 1960s. Now, the LA-based facility is reserved for special edition product, like these red, white, & blue classics releasing this Summer.

Vans are as American as jean shorts, apple pie, and iced tea. Established as a staple of lifestyle wear back in 1966, Vans’ have since developed into some of the most recognizable footwear in the world, thanks to their association with timeless, effortless cool. So, it makes sense that the California skate brand would rep their native country on some of their shoes, covering them in the USA’s red, white, and blue colors. This week, the latest American-themed release surfaced online, this time taking the form of two silhouettes produced in the brand’s famous Anaheim, California factory, known for its elevated versions of Vans classics. For this release, the Era and Sk8-Hi are rehauled in striped red and white uppers accented by blue suede overlays or blue and white checkerboarding.

The latest patriotic colorways produced in Vans’ famous Anaheim, California manufacturing facility have not yet been announced for release, though we expect them to drop sometime in the Summer, likely prior to the Fourth of July. Retail prices for these colorful Eras and Sk8-His will likely remain at their standards, and release from both Vans and select retailers.
