As a part of their “Makers of the Game” collection releasing at All-Star weekend, Nike has teamed up with Undefeated on the new Kobe 1 Protro, an updated version of the classic silhouette worn by Kobe in his early days.
Nike’s All-Star collection for 2018 is absolutely massive. With over 20 separate sneakers launching that weekend, it is certified to be a massive event both in basketball and sneaker culture. One of the most exciting release scheduled is the recently unveiled Zoom Kobe 1 Protro, an updated version of the Black Mamba’s first silhouette with the Swoosh. While the exterior will look exactly the same as it originally debuted, the insides have been gutted and replaced with performance parts fit for the modern day basketball court. For the upcoming special event, Nike has tapped the legendary Los Angeles-based Undefeated to add their unique take on the silhouette. The brand will release two variations of the shoe, one in an all-white upper with gum sole, and the other featuring a camo upper with black accents. NIKE X UNDEFEATED ZOOM KOBE 1 PROTRO RELEASE INFORMATION
The latest addition to Nike’s Kobe line will receive it’s Undefeated update beginning on February 15th with the white colorway. The camo edition will be released the following day.
