Travis Scott’s collaboration with Nike last year was one of the most intriguing projects all year. Now, LaFlame is back to with another pair of footwear, though this time its the highly anticipated Air Jordan 4 Retro in a new “Oilers” colorway.

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 “Oilers” first appeared on our radar only last month, and is already prepping for release. The first time we saw the baby blue Jordan, the story behind the particular colorway was still in the dark. It took less than a month for a full disclosure of the shoe’s purpose, and fans are excited. Despite having Scott on board for this stunning new pair, the colorway alone is enough for the shoe to sell out.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro “Oilers” pays homage to the NFL’s Houston Oilers that Travis Scott grew up watching. The upper on this Jordan 4 is constructed from what appears to be a very soft suede or nubuck, dyed in a brilliant University Blue tone. The signature lace eyelets come in black with baby blue speckled, matching the dual-branded Nike Air and Cactus Jack heel tabs. Finally, this limited edition Air Jordan 4 is complete with black waxed laces and a bright red inner lining.
