Tom Sachs and Nike have created some of the most exciting collaborations of the last decade. This fall, they are expected to continue their line of brilliance with a new silhouette, as well as a new take on the OG Mars Yard.

The Nike Mars Yard first made its debut in 2012, in collaboration with artist Tom Sachs. Since then, the sneaker has rocketed into the archives of the greatest shoes of all time. With both the original and second versions going for thousands a piece on the aftermarket, Tom Sachs and Nike are getting creative with keeping the line going. The first leak of their next project came much earlier this year and detailed a new shoe called the Mars Yard Mid. Now, it appears that Nike and Sachs have scrapped that design, and instead are working on something else called the OverShoe. Thanks to some recent pictures from Hanzuying, we finally have a closer look at the boot. Styled similarly to the classic Mars Yard silhouette, the Overshoe features a full version of the OG sneaker inside, shrouded by a large nylon and Dyneema wrap. The protective layer can be ratcheted down by two Fidlock-equipped straps over the toes, along with a quick release drawstring around the top.
