Pharrell William’s Tennis Hu silhouette will take on a bevy of new colorways this year, offering something for every sense of style and color. The latest is a new “Scarlet” colorway, arriving in stores this March.
The Stan Smith has remained largely unchanged since it originally released in 1973. The shoe was updated every few years to include the latest in comfortable materials, or with adidas’ newest technology. Last year, longtime adidas collaborator Pharrell Williams took time to reinvent the silhouette for modern times. Dubbed the adidas x PW Tennis Hu, the sneaker did exactly as intended, providing a slim, modern tennis-inspired silhouette for the modern lifestyle market. The Tennis Hu has launched in over two dozen colorways since it’s original launch, with more being added almost monthly to the growing total. Recently, official images have surfaced showing a new “Scarlet” colorway, painting the knit upper of the shoe with a tonal red hue. Similar to two other color palettes also arriving this year, the red version features slight fading around the upper in certain areas, adding a distressed or worn look to the simple colorway.

The latest addition to Pharrell’s signature Tennis Hu line will be made available on March 2nd.
